Not sure I should settle for strive for more. Like I said, I couldn't get the interface to look the way I wanted. The nametag is a bit too far to the left, but that's easy to fix. The big black bar is the thing I'd tried to get rid of, and it'd be SO MUCH LESS WORK if I got it right before actually starting the writing.

The thing I liked best about this VN I've got planned is that every choice the player makes in canon. How is that possible with multiple choices? I'll leave it to your imagination for now, but the point is I get to have a lot of fun and not every ending needs to have some huge arc with a potent payoff.

I fixed the UI and then I found the developer left in a sample UI that looks fine and I could have just used that one, but now mine looks better for what I was trying to do, why did this take me three goddamn months.

I'm excited about what I can do with this visual-novel-making program. I won't have to worry about placing dialogue, placing characters will be easier, I'll set up multiple expressions so each character shows the emotion corresponding to what they're saying, and best of all I'll be able to make it INTERACTIVE.

Life goes well. I've adjusted to not having friends anymore even though I could have conceivably tried keeping the very good ones that I had, like you, but wasn't sure how.

I have pretty high standards when it comes to the word "friend" though. Perhaps I should qualify that with a preceding "current." Certainly we can all agree on a difference between "old friends" and "current friends."

I've been meaning to try Katawa Shoujo since I never did get around to seeing the full version. Only thing I've seen is the first chapter, and that was before they removed Lelouch and apparently replaced Emi with an inferior Emi who wasn't drawn as well.

And... yeah... writer's block sucks. I started writing a novel back in '08, finished eight whole chapters and then wasn't sure how to proceed. Maybe sometime this year I should get back on that. I know how to beat it NOW, but back then... Writer's Block won.
(When I finally DO finish that one, I'm so totally keeping in that incredibly dated joke I put in back when it was current just because it's subtle enough not to stick out.)

i get the whole friendship thing, and also don't like throwing the word friend around. in my case it's because my friends are more like a secondary family so i really can't call anyone a friend. i have handpicked brothers and sisters. I shattered my elbow into ten pieces back in August, and I've been using my arm again too much because I was healing so fast and it was easy to forget it was still broken and now that's been coming back to bite me in the ass these past few days.

Well if you've got a choice, I'd say take take it in shifts. Go for the productivity even if it makes to a little crazy, then take a break for a while and start being productive again after a day or two.

I've been watching A LOT of Let's Plays.
Like seriously. A lot.
You probably don't even know who SuperJeenius is.

And yet I haven't even scratched the surface of Let's Play.

I got Borderlands 2 and discovered my burning, seething hatred for Antony Burch. I tried out that NaNoWriMo thing, lost momentum almost instantly and gave up within a few days. I shaved my massive beard after seeing The Fourteenth Warrior, starring Dr. Watson, so now I have face instead of beard. I played a lot of Dark Souls, then reinstalled Overlord and beat it way too easily because other games are not as hard as Dark Souls.

That pretty much sums up the past forty-five years since I last spoke to you.

The Mechromancer is my favorite, followed by the Commando, then Siren, then Assassin, then Gunzerker.

Although I actually only beat the game as a Siren, because I couldn't stand to go through the game again due to how much I hated the writing.

I named my Siren "Korra" because it seem like an obvious choice after the Wildlife Exploitation Reserve.

ah, so if they serioused up more for the writing of borderlands 2, you would have finished again on the mechromancer, but just stay with one finish of the siren cause bad writing, understandable

he could think that with time change, people have changed and their reaction to certain things have change in that time also. He could have also made a paltry better to what his prior avatar movie was and think it would be enough to make a second one. Or he could think despite the bad ratings by everyone, that because it made a fair amount of money, that people would be willing to see another.

I can't really imagine anything but an insult to a series that is better as it is than anything Shyamalan will ever be responsible for in his entire life.

It's a simple formula, and it goes like this: Time + Shyamalan = Garbage.
The last movie of his that most people agree is any good was Unbreakable, which is a movie a really like a lot, but even that is nowhere near as good as an average episode of Avatar.
