When I was at Slayer, when someone fell in the moshpit, they were picked up before they touched the ground. Shit was beautiful.

I'm not saying that's how they should be, the point being made was that this is what one turned into. Just sharing some of the crazy shit I've seen in my life.

Unless they pick black firebombs as their gift and spam the shit out of the item button, that is, which is pretty likely.

I have a feeling they would waste them throwing them at random shit before they got the demon

exactly, they wouldn't have any left by the time they got there, and if by some miracle, they defeat it, I bet they walk off the cliff by the aqueduct for days before they even get to the undead burg

They wouldn't start out having all of that poise, vitality, and armor, and shit though. They'd have to kill things and make progress first

I dunno, the knight's set has some decent poise.

But they would need to make progress and kill things to get it. If they started with all of this stuff, they could make it for a while, but the beginning would just be impossible without it

yeah taking hits from Gwyn was not optimal. Dodge his attacks, let soulmass hit him when he came close, and smack him with the moonlight greatsword. Gwyn died pretty fast to that as long as he didn't kill me in two hits

Makes sense. You're still lifting as an accessory to track, lifting isn't your sport, it's just a means to improve your sport.

I guess I was just talking about people who consider lifting to be their sport, however that wasn't specified on the content, so my point isn't necessarily valid.
User avatar #840 - Tsquared (02/25/2014) [-]
yeah, i have a lot of respect for lifters, I can't even imagine lifting some of the weight you guys use

It's kind of funny, I'm a distance runner and in my experience the throwers and the distance crew are always friends out of mutual respect since neither of us can imagine the other's workouts

Okay, me too.

Yeah, you're lifting as an assistance to running track, which is fine, but it doesn't make you a lifter.

A 315 deadlift, a 185 bench, and a 225 squat would be a somewhat novice lifter.

I was referring to people who lift seriously, for instance someone who pursues powerlifting, like myself, or bodybuilding, or strength training.
User avatar #837 - Tsquared (02/25/2014) [-]
oh yeah i'm defiantly not a full on lifter, but the question was just if I lift which I do

my coach has a rotating system where we spend a week or two doing tempo'd lifts, then a couple weeks of super-set'd strength lifts, followed by a few weeks of power lifting and max power, then we're in off season and we do calisthenics
