It's 80 mpg, fucking awesome compared to the 20 my car got.
Do most tracks do low displacement days?
I'd love to take it out to one some day, how much does it usually cost to register?

Price depends on your track and state. Most charge a first timers fee and they tend to give you a lead lap with an instructor leading the group, after that you'll be able to jump in on any of your displacement days.

Dude........ Hell yea they do. Plus it's the crowd you want to start in bro. Those classes run a huge gamut from Novice to Advanced riders since it's cheaper to get in with a 250cc-500cc classes, meaning you'll have more chances and more match riders with you. 600cc gets to the Amature class racers and more experienced riders. Liter bikes tend to run the really experienced and budget friendly guys (the guys with the stand alone garage Vans haha) I don't do it much since tires for my bike for track days are fucking nuts, your bike with be better with the tire size.

Nah bro that's a good first bike. That gas mileage is gonna be great for you, it's fast enough to get in trouble and super fun on the twisties, That's my R1 in the pic above, I started with a Harley Sportster that I had Cafe'd. I see 10 to 1 500cc bikes (and less) to Liter bikes on the track and Mulholland dr here in SoCal.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with your statement, and I'm in no ways justifying as smoking being better than riding, I'm just trying to point out that saving space and time in that manner isn't justified by the risk because there will always be unsafe riders.

true i guess. but you're still increasing risk of early death by smoking as well. its just motorcycle riding doesn't hurt until you get in an accident, smoking hurts continuously
#24 - Thebiggeorgy (04/08/2015) [-]
Like I said, the risk is there, and there's gear to avoid a lot of that damage that can be done, but riding safely and knowing the traffic around you, Saves time and Space as well as getting better gas mileage and better parking (4 motorcycles to 1 car)

I ride, but I'll never smoke, I've been in two accidents, one where I fell off a cliff side and down to some train-tracks, Scary shit, but I had on my full leathers, good boots and gloves and a great helmet, I walked away with a bruised knee. If I had Squided that fall I'd probably be dead like you're pointing out.

I still ride despite that experience. Cross your fingers for me brothers and sisters

My point is that

Motorcycles saves space.

Motorcycles saves time.

But with inherit risks.

bikes rule for commuting; easy to navigate through traffic, never any parking issues and the acceleration is a big plus. Add cheaper insurance, maybe even better fuel economy and a (mostly) friendly community.
User avatar #35 - thechosentroll (04/08/2015) [-]
Sacrifices safety and it takes a hell of a lot of willpower to drive one of those and not act like a massive twat that deserves to be hit by a bus.
