I really wish we had something similar around here. I´m - no idea why - pretty good with animals, I´ve never been bitten, scratched or even growled at, despite being around animals all the time, I think that´d be a fantastic way to spend time and actually do something useful.

I kinda think all wolves are definitely wolves and scary. It might not be apparent, but there´s a kind of respect there, same with tigers, lions, similar - as cute and beautiful as they are, they could still fuck you up if they ever decided to.

there are no wolfes in germany
They were all hunted down centurys ago because wild wolfes will attack the livestock

Some green politics actually want to get the wolfes back, and bringin back the problems our ancestorsdissolved

I know - mostly talking about sanctuaries, here, tho.

Also: Why not? Animals dying out is a bigger problem then animals attacking the livestock, right now.
Not only that, our livestock doesn´t just live in the woods anymore. They live caged-in, unavailable to ANY natural predator besides us, so wolves would only attack deer and boars, both of which we already have a problem with, in Germany.

I really don´t see any downside, especially since wolves very rarely come close to humans, not even speaking about attacking them.

Actually, at least in some parts (eastern germany, especially, iirc),the wolves are already coming back - albeit very slowly.

nope, your talking some bs here.

Cattles, Sheeps are still hold in pastures, Chickens are hold on the outside too to some degree.
Well most commonly by smaller farmers, where animal loss does really matter.
They can not afford to lose one animal to wolves every moth

They´re still held close to human settlement because the idea of a single farm out in nowwhere barely exists anymore - and wolves tend to keep away from human settlements unless they have NO chance to get food elsewhere - do you really think that the few dozens of wolves - and it won´t be more - are enough to bring down the deer population to a point where wolves need to attack animals close to human settlements? Do you know how many deer are shot yearly just to make sure they don´t overpopulate our landscapes?

I´ve just recently had the same talk with my grandpa who´s actually a state-approved hunter and even he said that the danger/ negative effects of a returning population of wolves are minimal.
