Mine must've been worse then. I knew I had it right when I got it cause I kicked a dude right in his heel, heard it pop, then it hurt like hell when I got off the field and only got worse from there. Should've seen a doctor right then, but I wanted to keep playing. Now it's still kinda fucked up and I've come to realize I'm the reason that doctors and trainers can't stand some of the shit that athletes do.

Well New York actually has 3 teams. The Rangers, The Islanders and the Buffalo Sabres. NJ has a team too, the Devils, and Philly has a team, Boston does, so You're kinda surrounded by it, but the area of NJ you're in might not be too into it. So idk.

Oh nice. Our track team gets like a nickel for funding. Football gets like $15000. We have our own god damned stadium with concessions and everything. It's wayyy too over the top for high school.

I actually graduate Tuesday so idk if I should be saying "we"

We even set up the games on the projector in Culinary class and watched the games.

Anon reporting:

Had both calves cramp up nearly simultaneously during a soccer match and awkwardly walked myself off the field just fine.
Also had a stress fracture in the middle of my dominant foot that I got during a soccer game. Played on that shit for 6 more weeks til the season ended now it's like chronically fucked up tho..
User avatar #188 - TheOriginalNerd (06/10/2014) [-]
stress fractures dont actually stop you though

im a runner and i ran on a stress fracture for almost 4 weeks before i knew i had it
#190 - poppenhoffer (06/11/2014) [-]
Mine must've been worse then. I knew I had it right when I got it cause I kicked a dude right in his heel, heard it pop, then it hurt like hell when I got off the field and only got worse from there. Should've seen a doctor right then, but I wanted to keep playing. Now it's still kinda fucked up and I've come to realize I'm the reason that doctors and trainers can't stand some of the shit that athletes do.

How are you supposed to play and finish a game with a broken rib?

OH FUCKIN WAIT
User avatar #65 - richardastley (06/09/2014) [-]
I know someone who owns a farm and broke his leg one day before finishing another eight hours of work. It wasn't because he was tough, it just wasn't that bad of a break. He made the injury worse by working more, and then he couldn't work for a while when he had a cast (or splint or whatever they'd use for a minor break) put on.
User avatar #34 - TheOriginalNerd (06/09/2014) [-]
rib is not leg

sure the pain must be fucking intense, but your muscles are still working

a cramp prevents the muscle from moving, therefore you cannot move, period.
