No to all of the above. As I said, I have no point, just food for thought.

Notice I didn't mention you or your beliefs at all in my statement, nor make any assumptions as to your thought processes. Nor did I play with definitions, I simply listed a definition.

Again all I posted was something to think about, I'm making no deductions, arguments, or assumptions about any beliefs here, but I will move forward to give you some even more interesting things, and begin making assumptions, and I have a point his time.

I'm going to assume your view is rather narrow since the "universe thing" turned you off to religion completely. Your use of the term "mythical being" rather than simply saying "god" shows obvious contempt and intent to insult anyone who believes a religion.

So based on these assumptions I'll ask you a question.
When was science created? Actually let me define that a little better, when were the physical and natural laws that science discovers created?

My guess is your response would be never, they always existed, and you would be correct.

Is it hard to believe that a "mythical being" which is paramountly defined as being unfathomable to the human mind might actually BE those laws, and much more?

My point is, God and what he is, what he does, and why he does these things, are no more understandable by humans than humans are understood by their pets, or even the microbes that course through our bodies.

Do you think your cat (pretend you have a cat if you don't) has even the slightest idea why you sit in your chair for hours on end staring at the glowing square in front of you? Or why you leave home almost everyday for absolutely no reason other than you always do?

You know what your doing, you understand, but to a lesser being the ability to comprehend is non-existent. There are concepts involved that their minds are not capable of processing.

Is it such a stretch of the imagination that "god" is far higher above us than you are above your cat?

The definition of universe is everything that exists, and was created by science, AFTER the whole writing of the bible thing. It's generally used to describe space and it's endlessness, but then if you delve into multi dimensions you move into the "multi-verse" concept which I never really understood. Because frankly, If the universe is "EVERYTHING" that exists, then wouldn't the multi-verse still be part of the universe?

God and creation is something more metaphysical that lies outside the bounds or the universe itself, which consequently moves into the Multi-verse realm.

I have no point to this. I'm just throwing into the "something to think about" pile.

You're playing with definitions. Language is flawed.

By the way, you're assuming I believe in everything that is proven or theorized by scientists. Isn't that was most christians complain about, people assuming that they believe in EVERYTHING the bible says?
