Its existence proves that all our theories about mass and movement of mass are true. It basically means that what we have been preaching about so far wasn't false which is why everyone's so excited about it.

It proves that we truly do understand how mass works which we couldn't know until now (so far we only guessed that such a thing had to exist for mass to act the way we see it acting). That applies to all conventional physics which means we've answered a lot of questions and that we've made a huge step towards understanding everything.

The only thing left is relative physics but we won't be able to prove our theories there (until we construct a vessel that can instantly accelerate to and move move at the speed comparable to the speed of light).

I've seen some clips of it because my family members watch it, and as far as I can tell Lori's just about the worst character.

If you do decide to watch it, the first season is good. The second one sucks ass... all they did was rent out an old farm for the entire season. Not much shit happens... WAY too much drama for a zombie apoc series in the second season.
