A lot changes in 5 years
Russia's government may be corrupt, but this interview is about how Marxist ideals have penetrated America via old KGB deep shills, and how even today we are influenced by powerful politicians that were once influenced by the KGB or someone the KGB influenced.
Russia isn't currently trying to make us socialist, the only geopolitical "threat" they have is wanting to influence countries around them into being more like them and less like us.
Newsflash: that has been happening ever since there have been chieftains and tribes. Also, Russia no longer matches our economic strength or military might. Our only geopolitical foe is China, but their economy is endangered by a bubble burst worse than the Great Depression, and their military is mostly infantry based.
TLDR: Russia isn't a threat anymore, though we should watch them just like we watch China
You know that todays russia is completely the opposit?
They have absolutely no social government. Nearly no welfare, even fckin low pensions.
Its hard core capitalism over there, with no1 receiving shit for not working.
And now compare it the US. Seems like the US is still under Sovjet propaganda but the russians themselves rnt.
I agree, they are still a threat, and it is exactly why we should play nice. These days the world frowns upon world wars, so we can't really go to war with someone who illegally seizes land. You know what we can do if we're friendly though? Influence them, affect their policies, threaten to pull support, etc. These are more likely to affect their actions than "Don't do it or else we'll... not... go to war. But we'll say we're VERY angry."
This is so obvious and yet there's so many idiots everywhere who don't seem to get the obvious. They have been our #1 enemy, they are still our #1 enemy and they will continue to be our #1 enemy cause their country is full of sheep lead by insane shepherd. Lenin, Stalin, Putin, different names same goal. The world gives them little slaps on this wrist when they invade and take other countries. Georgia, Poland. Hello people. Wake the fuck up. These people are crazy
Georgia attacked Russia. Russia defended themselves. You can read it up in every single website you want. Even Wiki. Poland? You talk about the fckin WW2? How about talking about the british taking over america? What r u talking dude
The British taking over America LOL wut. Russia defending themselves as they roll tanks into Russia and Crimea LOL wut. You're actually a brainwashed idiot
Do you actually history? The british (and other eu countries) colonized North America and killed most of the natives. It was a british colony. Only after some time it got independent and was called USA. First of all we talked about Georgia not about Crimea u brainwashed idiot. But if we start to talk about Crimea, then Russias reaction was completely reliable. First of all the US spend milliards over 10 years into Ukraine to destabilice the government... or how Obama himself stated in an interview "We invested to stabilize the democratic infrastructur of the country" <- which is basically the same as saying: We want their politics to change. What they didnt like, was Russia and Ukraine being to close to eachother with Ukraine actually declining joining the Nato. Even after shit went down on Maidan (again... who paid for it? Thats the most expensive place in the whole Ukraine and it was rented for over a month... thats like millions of Euro) Wiktor Janukowytsch was STILL the elected and incumbent president (he was accepted by the international comitee) and yet the new president Turtschynow at that time, who wasnt elected was accepted by the US and the followers (which was wrong by international law). There should have been reelections, which kinda no1 in the US nor EU wanted for some reason. Crimea was a present by the russians after the fall of the sovjet union to the ukrainian government. But in the contract there is written, that russia has the power to move a total of 50.000 Soldiers to the crimea without telling them the intentions of it. Basically meaning, that it was by law for them to move their soldiers. Secondly there was an actual referendum with a real election within the crimea, where ppl voted to 90% to belong to russia rather then to ukraine. Somehow the US accepts an illegal president, but doesnt accept supervised election. I actually have family members living in Sewastopl and all of them are pretty happy with them belonging to russia. Im just telling you the facts. Go figure itself out you brainwashed idiot. "LOL XD"
