Well. Your last piece of advice to put an ACOG scope on it, stating it'll make the bullet more accurate. No. It'll make the firearm more accurate.

I usually recommend either a .22 bolt-action or a Mosin-Nagant as a first weapon, simply because of price and reliability. Just note that Mosin will punch through many barriers that would stop a .22, so you'll have to be extra careful about what's behind your target.

Ruger 10/22

Cheap, almost non-existent recoil, easy maintenance, great for a first time gun owner.

If you've never ridden before the Iron is fairly good. I would suggest getting a Fat Boy, though, in my opinion they're better for beginners and better machines overall (more expensive though, and the quality doesn't change all that much) that is optimal. You can start with whatever, I started with an Old Honda CB350 that was about 8 years old when I got it.
#112 - Got to ask, what age would you suggest getting a bike?  [+] (3 new replies) 11/22/2013 on only in FJ 0
User avatar #113 - thebestpieever (11/22/2013) [-]
I would suggest getting it at about 18/19. That said, I bought my first one at 15. I'm fine now, but I did get my fair share of accidents.

Coo'. I've been eyeing the Iron 883 for a starter bike, although I might go used.
