Well, several years ago for my 16th birthday we had a paintball party/movie night/camp trip for like 30 people, and we just sat in the barn and watched movies, one of the kids dads was a cop, idk, he didnt say anything about it. I don't think local law enforcement really cares about that, its more like federal stuff and there may be some regulations online. Heres another idea that may work: We could just host a google hangout and have the main presenter playing the movie. It might be crowded but we could have several different groups?

Yeah it's one of those laws that's not enforced too harshly, especially for a birthday party. But for a site that makes money from advertisements, DJ 4DM1N might not want to risk it.

I wasn't aware that it was illegal. What if you bought a movie and had a bunch of friends over for the weekend? I'm pretty sure you can do with your movie whatever you want.
