| I've lived in both. Roughly the same temps, but Michigan has a lot more snow due to lake effect weather from the Great Lakes. I lived on the shores of lake Superior for about 20 years. Minnesota is on a great lake and has many other bodies of water in it. "Land of 10,000 lakes." Storm systems have been passing by us lately, but I remember taping a yard stick to the fence post out of my window. If it was 2 feet ish of snow in one night.. Im really not brand specific, My red dot i got on clearance at walmart for like 40$ reg 80$ and its decent, it works, has 4 different reticles, good for shorts - medium range
