**CrazyPsycho rolled a random image posted in comment #1628387 at MLP Brony Board ** To be honest.. enlistment is my "if all else in my life fails" plan. Id only do it if i really hand nothing else to come home too.. depending on your branch is how long you may or may not be gone during times of conflict. or maybe i'm just talking out of my ass. who knows

I want to enlist cause I'd just like to serve and do something I would actually like to do. There are also a SHIT TON of jobs in the military that you wouldn't be able to find in the normal civilian world.

2 kinds of people join the military. One, like my friend's older brother, has a masters degree in physics, but all he wants to do is sit around on his ass all day, and now he has to join the Navy or be homeless. Two, on the other hand, simply want to do it, to serve their country, to honor their family, to kill terrorists, or whatever reason.

Either way, I respect them, because I value my own life too much to risk it for the ass-backwards shithole that is the USA.

No. I do not think so.
I think it is one of the most respectable jobs you could have, honestly

A lot of people can't afford college, so they join to make money to go to college.

Depends on the way things are going in the world. Vietnam, maybe. Now, with jobs hard to get elsewhere, and college bankrupting you before you get a chance to make it in life? The military could be way smarter than going directly to college.

He was a leader of a cult, and he told those girl to kill those people. My dad knew Leslie Van Houghton, and she and one of the other girls stayed at house two weeks before the Tate/La Bianca murders. They were seeing if my dad was right to kill. So I may be a bit biased here, but I think Charles Manson is a serial killer.
