He gave them PLENTY of chances to stop. There is an NSFW section, after all. Not every website would give the users so many chances to cut the shit. Honestly, this whole "let's rise up against kim jong blah blah blah" bullshit gets on my nerves. The politics are such bs. He gives the users so much freedom and they want more. If they don't like it they know where the X button is. Sorry, got a little carried away. lol

Rolling, items, etc. is just dumb stuff, not really fun, doesn't add anything to the site. Next to nobody uses the fj comic maker, and most of the people who do make retarded shit with it. So... How has the site improved? It's not loading any faster, the community is still fucked up, and I still get "request failed" errors ALL THE TIME.

Consider the amount of traffic he's gotten in the past few years. The site has really blown up.
Because of this the site tends to lag. There's not MUCH he can do.
He's given us the ability to thumb in multiple ways. We asked, he listened and he got it done.
You can't blame the community on him. That's one of those things the users have to fix. They need to stop being assholes.
Overall his lack of action (as you see it) is actually a good thing. He's letting the site run itself. The people choose what makes it to the front page. It's comfortable on the eyes. The layout is enjoyable. When you take a step back and think about it, he's done a great job by not really doing much. It's up to the people to cut the crap.
