I don't think you understand my question...

Some places value foreign degrees, while others look down upon applicants with those degrees... So for example my Canadian/American degree would be very respected if I decided to work in the middle east (Bahrain, Qatar...) While a degree from Cuba or something, won't be worth anything to them...

So I would imagine Canada and USA are similar in that nature, but would a firm from Alaska look to hire their fellow americans? Or do they not care...? lol

Yes, Alaska has a ton of job opportunities. I'm sure people will be looking for degrees as well. I would come during the "summer" months (Late April or Early May) because all the tourism happens at that time and there are plenty of job openings for the summer, that way you can stay and look for a more permanent job. I put summer in quotations because we really don't have summers here... We get the occasional streak of decent weather (highs would be mid 70's but average for the summer would be 50 and rain) but I would bring a rain coat and water proof shoes or boots.

#110 - How is it in Juneau? Lot of hot babes? :3  [+] (10 new replies) 02/04/2013 on 20 Astonishing Facts part 2 0
User avatar #114 - Shmuck (02/04/2013) [-]
Hahaha! Lets just say, the hot babes that are here (which is like 20 of them) are all from down South in the Lower 48. There are more in the summer time with the seasonal jobs since Juneau is really quite easy to get a good job and the lowest you will get paid is probably $12 an hour.
User avatar #116 - RomanR (02/04/2013) [-]
Is there a lot of opportunity for business jobs? For example if I was to graduate from university in 3 years, would working in Juneau be a good idea?

Yeah, I hate when people aren't smart with their money, and don't understand that better gear doesn't make you any better, or make us think highly of you. I've been skating since I was four, and have have used the same pads since 7th grade
