Modern warfare generally has the better multiplayer, (Not including MW3) As far as maps and guns go, but the community is terrible, (I.E Quick-scopers, Noob-tubers, and Halo Jumpers.)

Black Ops 1 was really just Treyarch testing the waters with a new game engine, a better game engine than what WaW had, but it sort've failed in the "Wow! Look at deem Greephicz!" Department, and it felt stiff and weird to play with, but The zombies mode was a solid successor.

Black Ops 2 was Treyarch taking all of the Bad from Black Ops 1, (I.E Stiff controls, bad maps, shit guns, and Boosting still being allowed.) And replacing it with only good, the multiplayer is balanced as far as weapon damage goes, (All snipers aside from the SVU-12 are One-hit kills to the chest, Assault rifles are varied in power accordingly, LMG's have respectable recoil to their real-life counterparts.) Not to mention the Story was the best story mode since WaW.

The flaws for MW2/MW3 are, Of course, the Community, and the fact the guns were not balanced whatsoever, and you had the possibility of a 50. cal round NOT killing someone with a Chest shot, The noob-tubes were easy to use, and plentiful, and you could still gather ammo from Scavenger bags with them, which is a no-no. Maps in MW2 were stellar, where Maps in MW3 were just.. Ew

Black Ops 1 had a lot of flaws with it, Stiff controls, not a lot of variety with guns.. Maps (Aside from Firing Range) Were just shit, and the killstreaks sucked.

Black ops 2's only flaws are the fact there maps are not "Up to Par" With the Call of Duty Standard, but lately, there have been some hidden gems in the DLC packs, (Hydro, Skate-park, and Studio)

Honestly, all we can hope for is that the joint operation of Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer games on Call of Duty: Ghosts, Will be spectacular.

MW2 was amazing. everything about it was right. it defined COD a chaotic arcady shooter. lots of gun selection.

BO was ok.the fact you had to buy weapons and upgrades that reset when you prestiged was annoying as hell. my friend just resorted to buying the emblem peices and using an early gun. being able to buy things whenever kind of screwed up the balance of the game

MW3 just felt off to me. the support killstreaks got annoying because anyone could get them. no one touched care packages since they were far more likely to be traps.

BO2 is a great game scorestreaks emphasize playing the game modes not just camping the point. weapons that didnt reset was nice so that you could just pick up where you left off for the camo challenges which are a good addition too
