It doesn't matter.
In the song "What Happened" by the Netherland trio Dope D.O.D., one of the rappers says "Thinks he makes art like he's Vincent van Gogh, but no, I turn from amateur to pro" which indicates that pronounciation doesn't matter.

It isn't. It's usually pronounced Van Goff by English speakers because you cannot physically produce the sound the Dutch pronounce it with.

The correct pronunciation is upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/32/Nl-Vincent_van_Gogh.ogg

There are no physical differences between someone who speaks dutch and someone who speaks english. The sound is just more difficult because we very rarely use it.

Just noticed that even the German pronounciation seems to be a little wrong eventhough German and Dutch are closely related.

It's not hard to pronounce, we just do it wrong, like "Goch". Also we pronounce Vincent like "Vintssent" but it's supposed to pronounced "Vintschent", isn't it?.

yeah but we dont do it wrong because we cant pronounce it right, but simply because we were taught to pronounce it wrong by people who think it d be pronounced this way. and yeah its vintschent.
