I'm not, most of the Homestuck fans are about as bad as PewDiePie fans..
In other words, fucking annoying.

On the one hand, you are right in saying that a lot of homestuck and pewdiepie fans can be, well, annoying as hell. On the other hand, that's mostly because the annoying ones are getting all the attention, while the nice or just plain quiet ones are left out of the limelight.

While I agree that people who cluster in the middle of halls are annoying as hell, most of my friends who like homestuck are cosplayers, so I must disagree with the conclusion that the most annoying part of the fandom would be the cosplayers. I'd say it's probably all the people who try to force you into liking Homestuck and are rather pushy about the subject. They can also be rather hostile towards anyone not in the fandom.

also saying someone isn't doing art because they're just replicating something else is like saying that every painting drawing or whatever that's not taken from imagination isn't art because they're just copying real life, it takes a lot of the same skills to draw a person as it does to draw a picture of a person, I mean it's a little easier on account of the fact that pictures stand perfectly still but so do people posing for paintings so whatever.

I'm not denying his skill as a painter, or whatever the hell you call this, but the fact remains that he didn't have any part in the creation of the original master piece. Being able to create a drawing from someone else's work is a far cry from being an artist but it does make you an awesome painter, musician, sculptor or whatever, if you're good at it.

You mean you'd like me to put a pixelated version of the Mona LIsa (no doubt copied off a digital image) into a CAD program and then put it through that awesome machine? Well I ain't an engineering major so I can't. Seriously, your argument is about as retarded as it gets. I never said it wasn't impressive, I just said it wasn't art.
#44 - anon (08/31/2013) [-]
It's not like he copied it exactly. It bears a resemblance to the Mona Lisa, but it obviously looks different.
It's like a decent cover of a song. The foundation is the same, but it's able to stand on its own right.

well then it's pretty insane that they can all work together like that..
if it was just every cell individually changing like that, you would think it would be a totally random outcome.. but it can mimic any texture it encounters..
an octopus has an individual brain in each of its arms as well if you didn't know.. one big brain in its head and little individual, independent brains in each arm.. that's how they can figure out how to get out of almost any container with an opening, each arm is searching independently.
