True. I think it's funniest when rednecks here are buying their guns and knives and complaining about other countries and hyping up all the freedom stuff and most of all their weapons and ammo was either made in China, Japan, or Russia, but then, all the Americana Spirit hippies I grew up around buy simple things, like pots and pans, and practical stuff that is actually made in the US and they know it is. That was why they bought it, other than they needed something to fry their tofu in. and yet, all the rednecks are complaining about how "hippies" are dirty far lefties who would should just move to Europe, or they call the Eurotrash because they visited Europe once or are supportive of other countries. I get called Eurotrash sometimes because my dad's an iommigrant from Slovakia.

Again, im not surpprised really, for all it's freedoms, 'real Americans' are usually the most racist bunch of people you would ever meet, simply out of the fact that the USA is a superpower, I would honestly love to see a redneck in a few years after china,japan,india and russia leave USA in the dust although i would think their ego's wouldnt let them suffer much. That or if someone could show them what would happen if the USA lost the support of all those countries that 'suck'. On a side note, thats pretty interesting, my mums from Uruguay actually. [not sure how that fits with Slovakia,but oh well.

yeah. most rednecks are too ignorant or proud to admit that they could even possibly be wrong. And yeah, being someone who comes from my mother who can speak spanish and my dad who used to be able to speak Slovak, I'm pretty pathetic. With most languages, no matter how much i really learn or how hard i study, i only am able to retain a few words. Like, I've been trying to learn Japanese for the past year (by book tho) and so far, I can only sometimes tell if the've asked a question and I can pick apart some of the words when they speak (like in films and usually only the few words i know) it's the same with spanish, and in Slovak, i only know "I", "blood", "wind", "water", "little cat", "and good day", which can for some reason double as "okay" and "Good"

Well, to me, I think honestly learning a language is something you got to be either born with [like your parents taught you since you were young] or you live in place that only speaks the language [like moving from the US to Germany and having to learn German to live and such] cuz ive tried to learn japanese, but i cant really get past a few words. But like i said,if you want to learn i could try to tutor you if you'd like.

Thanks, but my mom's been trying for about four years now and the only full sentence i can decipher is "What's happening, my daughter?" Besides all the words that Texans use and most don't realize are spanish. Like gracias and por favor (Which really annoys me when they use this one because they use it as if it's the english word "favor") I'm sure i know more spanish than I think I do, but it just isn't common practice for me. What's funny to me tho, even tho I completely understand, is my mom's reaction to a lot of Texas high school students she teaches who call the language "Mexican"

Yeah, I find that funny sometimes too. What pisses me off tho is when they bunch up all latinos as inheritly being mexican,that really gets me, i mean, At least us puertoricans take great offence to being called mexican, quickets way to get a true puertorican mad is by calling him a mexican, and insiting that out little island is a part of mexico.

Yeah. In my history class last semester, there was this chick who sat on my left and thought Cuba was somewhere in between China and California. I was like, "Da fuck? do you mean Hawaii, Taiwan, or Japan?" and she just gave me this look like I was being stupid and turned and asked the girl on the other side of her. In retrospect, i think I could have been more helpful. I have lots of those types of little regrets

yeah, that's part of the reason I'm not very social. I've been through k-12 with those type of people and after a while, it gets tiring having them treat you like YOU'RE the stupid one. So I just don't say much to anyone anymore.

I know the feel, most of my life im surrounded by kakos [puertorican versions of gangter wannabes] like if your not kako, your stupid or just plain weird, and to give you an idea,there usually [not always] as smart as rednecks, only listen to reaggeton, and think all music is crap, and they think there all that,even if their fat fucks.
