Actually, Adolf Hitler was, in most respects, a pretty okay guy. The biggest problem with him really is the whole being absolutely evil thing. He was pretty laid-back most of the time and solved his problems when they came to him, treated those beneath him well and was really good with kids.

It just goes to show that the measure of a good leader is not his education, nor his lifestyle, but his moral compass. There are plenty of people along the chain of command who do lots of different jobs but the leader needs to be the one who can tell right from wrong and cares about the people they were put in charge to protect.
