Actually, no. Only the female versions of those countries that are males in their "original" or "first" representations. France or Mexico are females, and their male counterparts are "brothers" instead.

They most certainly better not reveal his name.
I mean, I guarantee that no writer in the history of ever would be stupid enough to reveal something like that about such a beloved character.
It's like the Master Chief's face; if they show it, the entire character will be just destroyed and anything in the future of the franchise would probably be boycotted by anyone who even gave a slightest bit of fuck.

This is probably just about why he is called the doctor. It might also be that the episode is all about names, and names are now cool, so the doctor is now Harriet and Clara is Harriet as well. I just don't see how Moffat could justify revealing the real name of the doctor.

imagine when he says "Im the doctor" if his name is revealed.

It's going to be a twist. We won't learn the Doctor's name, just like the Doctor didn't really die in that one episode a while ago.
But it'll be an interesting one.

It's Moffat trying to blow everyone's minds with anticipation. I doubt very much the name will EVER be revealed because that takes away from the magic and mystery of the Doctor. There was a crowd in London flying the sign "We DON'T want to know the name of the Doctor!" faith in those guys

It's not him trying to blow everyone's minds with anticipation. Unless he is blatantly lying to everyone he's going to reveal the name. The title of the episode is "The Name of the Doctor" and the tagline is "His Secret Revealed."

There is literally a bigger chance of the secret not being revealed. You have to remember this: Nobody alive knows the Doctor's name except for him (in his own timeline) but we know that River knows his name so
(Theory:) he can reveal it to her, but not to the public. Ergo, his secret will be revealed. That's a possible example right there

At what point has he said something that can only be interpreted one way that's turned out to be completely false? He's said cryptic things that aren't what people expect, but I can't find any point where he's said something this blatant that turned out to be false.

As for the secret part, I'm sure The Doctor has lots of secrets. The add doesn't say which secret is being revealed.
