I'm British, and given to patronising or sarcastic comments. If you've read even one of my posts you should have already been appraised of these facts. I can't stand tea, or cricket. Give me vodka and rugby anytime. But not at the same time. That didn't work out too well.

Correct. The stupid stuff like Icke and such is just a distraction from real issues and lets people ridicule critical thinkers. TINFOIL HAT LOL etc. Seems like people have even forgotten the definition of conspiracy. As in, don't you think powerful and ruthless men do illegal shit to make billions and then hush it up?

No it isn't i think - atleast a recent study about the wage gap in scientific fields, showed that men would earn +10/25% more than women in the field, if they had the same qualifications etc.
(basicly they made 2 resumes for different PHD required jobs in labs, 100% the same, except for the gender and sent it to 1000 possible employers - and the proposition to men for the job was about atleast 10% higher)
Ofc some would argue, that because women could go on maternity leave, they should have lower wages.. But it's not all who wants or can have children (esp the newer generation, who're generally better informed about the world + problems humanity is facing + the average age of first pregnancy is rising in a lot of western countries) which should aso be taken into account IMO.

But that's not how it works for the vast majority of jobs. The salary for a role is pre-determined before the role is advertised, not negotiated.

I would argue that men are more aggressive in negotiations over wage. My mother recently changed jobs and she is an RN. At my advice when they offered her to low (25/h) I said to hang up on them after saying you wont work less for 33/h. They called her back in a week and hired her. She couldn't believe they called her back because she thought that was very rude maybe it was, but it is how I have always gotten my jobs. That is just from my views and life experiences with my wife, mother, and wife's friends. Doesn't mean I am right just my opinion.

Men's primary motivator in jobs is money, every study has shown this.
Women's is security, followed by comfort, followed by flexibility, followed way down the list by money.
Men and women want different things out of jobs, and that's not a criticism of either sex, it's just the way it is. However there is always a trade-off. If men want money, they will not get flexibility. It would be stupid to say there is a "flexibility gap" or a "comfort gap", because these things are not prioritised.
