There are literally thousands of possible sampling techniques. Some polls may take a 'random sample,' of the population, basing that a random sample is true neutral and most likely to show accurate results, but those samples can come from certain states where Trump or Hillary are more supported. Of course, there are a bunch of other ways of sampling, but that's too much to explain.
Again, I'm not defending either candidate, but just because a site shows a result that is of high proportion to a certain candidate doesn't mean there's some bias conspiracy behind it.
