The idea of marriage is based off of religion and tradition. It's something that was adopted by the state. Just like the idea of divine/individual sovereignty, "every man is created equal," etc. etc. That is based on religious beliefs. In reality, people aren't born equally. Human beings don't all possess the same capital. Some are equipped better genetically, etc. People who want to disregard religious beliefs need to understand how much of a foundation they are to the ideals society uses as a foundation.

Most people think Ryan lost the VP debate pretty badly.

Curious on why you gave Obama the third. To me it seemed like Obama was more aggressive but in a desperate way, while Romney was calm and collected. I saw a lot more petty attacks instead of informative points come from Obama tonight than in the second.

(CBS) 53% of people polled said Obama won the foreign policy debate, 23% said Romney and 24% said it was a tie.
