Cool.World Building is pretty hard,I'm just working at a big project and I find it pretty hard to make sure my Info don't conflict with themselves.And the hardest thing is to create the geographic Part of a World without coming in conflict with the way your Characters will have to go once you start writing.Same with Religious and Politic Matters, it took me month to figure those out so they fit to my story

Yep. It's a process. Try to lay a foundation with some real-world places/religions/etc. like how Avatar mimics fuedal Japan and China, or Inuits and Tibetan monks.

I started out with a Three-Powers-Concept based on religious Powers (Cause my Story is somehow based on a fight between three Countries, each with has caged a fallen God which is used as a Weapon),clashing on a One-Continent-World with an unknown amount of small Islands on the Rest of the Planet and probably a second Continent,but im not yet sure about it.Politics took me long enough but Religion was even harder, cause it is the Base of my Story. There are some Real-World-Influences,but not too many...what kind of Short-Stories do you write?

Mostly comedies, like the story of the 12-Dollar Appendectomy Behind a Toys 'r Us. I also do some serious stuff, like I have one about a German boy in London going through the bombings during WW2.

I have only one funny Shortstory,most are just Shortstories playing in the World of my bigger Project.
Well,WWII and Stuff like this isn´t really what I like,when I am writing I have to write about another World,the actual World pisses me off quite a bit. I think the sense of writing/reading is to make you forget about the real world,but that is only my oppinion
