I picked the one that I found to be the most annoying to me. Portraying men who are leaders of democracy as dictator when nothing they have done would have made them so I just find it wrong. I still have my freedoms, I have not been oppressed by the men in the videos nor have they ruined my life in anyway.

thanks for saying that, im christian too and i definitely agree. Those people that do all those things aren't true christians and it really gets annoying when people make a generalization and say all christians are like that.

I think it's more about pride. Even today, if your opinion differs than someone else's, The two parties will do anything and everything in their power to prove the other wrong, even when faced with overwhelming evidence. I myself am an Atheist, and I don't hate the ideas of religion, I actually kind of like them because it's all in our history, and I like history. It's when someone decides they're better than others that I despise. I have many religious friends, and I respect them.

I have NEVER EVER met another christian who thinks atheists are heartless cruel people... wherever you read that... don't go back there again because the people who said that are morons... actual christians know you don't judge a group by the actions of 1 person... and you can't define a person because they belong to a certain group... I met a black guy who didn't like KFC...

I agree that it is definitely not anywhere near a majority, but there is massive discrimination against us. The American Cancer Society turned down a $250 000 donation that was offered from an atheist group. The representative from the atheist group happened to have a blog that he posted the story on. After the group gained some support against the Cancer Society they released a statement saying that "We are still communicating on other ways the group can be a part of our program", despite several e-mail exchanges between the two groups contradicting that. I have been told personally that I am the "scourge that is destroying our society". There is massive discrimination and it is incredibly unconstitutional yet very few pay attention. 47% of Christians in the USA said they would not elect a qualified atheist president over a less qualified christian, Muslim, homosexual, or woman. We are the mot hated group in America right now.

does that mean 53% would elect one... that sounds like a majority to me... the athiest would win with those odds.

This was based off a sample of Christians, not the entire populace. And I believe that 9% said they would vote for one and that the other 44% said they were indifferent. And I said that it wasn't a majority that hated Atheists.

I'm not trying to generalize christians here (I said some christians, indicating a small percantage of a whole).

And though YOU personally may never have met a christian like one I described, you can hardly say you've met all the christians on the planet.
