I always laugh at the people who don't get tattoos because they will look bad when you are old and wrinkly. Bitch, show my your "flawless" skin when you are 65. Basically, they will be all old an ugly without a tattoo also.

I've never had anyone tell me they're going to ruin my wedding day, that seems a tad extreme. But I want people to see my tattoos when I'm in a wedding dress! Bub and Bob are on my shoulders so I assume they'll be showing, and I'm gonna be super proud of that!

The people who object really don't matter anyway. Haha, when I'm old and grey all of me is going to be wrinkly not just my tattoos, I don't think I'm going to care that much how I look :P

Dude i want to get that same exact tatoo! seriously, the harry potter books taught me everything, and snape is my absolute favorite character. Most people wouldn't understand, but there's so much to learn from them. "Always" is the embodiment of the whole series. Go for it.

Get the tattoo. If in 20 years time you don't care for HP anymore, it won't matter. You'll feel foolish with the tattoo forever being there, but it means that the person you are RIGHT NOW will never die. The person you are RIGHT NOW is going to be forever printed on your skin, and you should never forget where you came from.

Move on, but never forget who you once were and where you came from. I know people with song lyrics for bands that time has forgotten, but they regret nothing, because that band was influential to them when they were younger. Getting older doesn't mean that the old you has to die.

I should say, a few rules.

1) Don't get something offensive. My friend nearly got a swastika for a laugh years ago, and now he feels stupid for ever trying to make fun of something like that on that much of a scale.

2) Don't go overboard. Don't cover yourself in tattoos that you might regret. One or two every few years, to document the different people you've been in your lifetime, and the different events and interests of your life.

3) No stupid places. Don't get a retarded face tattoo or some shit. Obvious reasons.

4) Think about it carefully. At least 6 months of decision-making first.

I'd get it. I personally want the triforce crest tattooed on my forearm and I plan on getting it at one point, but my parents are the ones that are stopping me from doing it right now.

If it means a lot to you, go for it. I'm in the same boat, more or less. I really want the Hylian symbol behind my ear to represent all the hours my dad and I spent together playing it. Unfortunately, he doesn't approve of tattoos, so it would be kind of pointless.

If you want it, of course you should! You don't get a tattoo to please other people, it's something that you love that's on your skin forever. I currently have three pixel tattoos (Bub and bob from bubble bobble, and one of two Mario mushrooms I'll be getting above my hips) and a Mario Sunshine graffiti boo tattoo, and some people tell me I'm going to regret them when I'm older, but I know I wont and I love them! Like you said, it's not up to me or anyone else on here whether you get it or not, but if you want it you shouldn't put off the decision because of a couple of dumb dumbs telling you that you shouldn't get it.
