basically, there was a subdomain of this site that used to exist (dev.funnyjunk), this was where the admins, mods & coders tested things such as account creation, thumbing and posting.

"horny manatee" was a kind of keyword for the devs, as when you searched it (this has been removed), you got a huge amount of code as the search results. I presume that the picture has that date because they were testing manual changing of the upload dates, why they'd do that is uknown to me.

dev.funnyjunk no longer exists as a usable tool, this is because there was a huge security exploit that me and a popular user exploited that allowed you to get into the admin panel (admin's account is only there to show he's part of the site, getting into his--)

--into his account has no advantage other than red text and unthumbable pictures), but admin found out about the entry into the admin panel, and removed the server of dev.funnyjunk
