This. Try being security when the manager decides he wants to impress the owner by going for a record in sales. Its not fun and the manager will be the first to get up your arse when two fights break out at either end of the joint and somehow you can't be in two places at once.
Everyone has a part of their job they don't like, complaining about it is fine as long as you don't get obnoxious about how much you 'hate' your job.
The only times I complained about a job was when they had me working hundreds of hours a week then weren't paying me for them...
But I feel like that was kind of an exception.
Even if you worked 24/7 (you'd likely die from even low physically/mentally demanding jobs) you'd be unable to work hundreds.
Not going to lie starting to tear up a little it's the first time I've mentioned it other then to co-workers even though it was likely breaking some law....
Wasn't like I was expecting a bunch of up votes but was hoping one person might care....
I'll go back to lurking now sorry.... this is why I don't want to make an account just end up upsetting myself...
Have a nice day. (^.^)d
9am-2am then open the next day at 9am again it's about 119 if I couldn't get even one day off 102 if I could.
on a good week maybe around 90...
Either way I was payed based on a 50 hour work week so... yeah.
Not sure why the spam downvotes wasn't lying... sorry I brought it up....
Are you trolling? Hundred implies 200+ there's 168 hours in a week. It's humanly impossible to work that many hours in a week even IF YOU WORKED EVERY WAKING HOUR. You have to be lying unless >>
's explanation is valid.
I meant "a" hundred no plural.... thought it would be pretty self apparent since there is only a little over a hundred hours in a week but I guess the semantics are more important then not paying workers....
Just how my co-workers use to put it "they work you hundreds of hours why don't you get overtimes?"
they actually lied to me and said I was but when I noticed(took like a year because I was so tired all the time) that my pay check didn't change my boss just said "oh I didn't mean you"
Heard a few quit afterwards saying it was how he treated me and they did apparently fire him he moved me around stores so it didn't look like he was working me 7 days a week.
But again I feel like killing myself from this whole thing so sorry I brought it up enjoy your thumbs up I'll give you one too have a nice day I need to go cry in a corner....
168 hours in a week
>I was working hundreds of hours a week
Yeah fucking sucks how the whole space time continuum lets them get away with paying you for hours that you worked in the 4th dimension
about a hundred most weeks some only 80 or 90 still feels like to many....
Figures no one gives a crap lol sorry.
