And since that effectively ends the (nonexistent) debate, I'm going to get off the internet for the night. Have a nice evening.

Yes, and I'm saying that reason is dumb and should be changed.

Hillary won the popular election. Hillary should be president. Unless there's some reason to suspect that her lead is invalid (and it's 1.5%, fyi) then that's the way it should be.

No, it doesn't work like that and it shouldn't.
And if you are so driven on popularity, how did Hillary become the nominee?

Oh. thats what you are arguing about; that the system we have is bad.
I was arguing that the maps are important to understand the outcome of the election, and that the map relates to what Trump won.
We were both arguing different things

Because they have nothing to charge her with to be honest... lots of conspiracy theories but no hard evidence.

But not the same amount of geographic space, which is why it is misleading and why using maps for election results is dumb.

I don't think Obama could pardon her even if he wanted to.

If Jill Stein's recounts happen they will probably take weeks to complete. They might not even be done by December 19, when the electors actually vote. And if any major discrepancies are discovered it will take even longer to investigate and see if there's any wrongdoing, and additional time to determine who's at fault - whether Hillary's camp was responsible for it directly, or it was some other party working to help her, or just a bunch of individual Hillary supporters voting illegally. This process is extremely unlikely to finish before Trump takes office in less than 2 months. And Obama can't pardon Hillary unless she's actually charged with something, right?
(This is also all assuming, of course, that voter fraud or misconduct is actually discovered, and, if so, that it benefited Hillary and not Trump)
