At her burial, my brother and I were two of the coffin-bearers, and it was snowing. The priest said some very touching things, and captured my grandmother's personality perfectly.

I've had cancer and I don't think it is brave. You fight it or you die. I didn't throw myself in the way of it. Honestly it wasn't even that bad, a surgery to remove my painful testicle and back at work in 3 weeks. If I had died it would have been painful for family and loved ones not me. I know other people have different stories but that is mine.
