My friend was molested three times when he was younger. Even he thinks it has something to do with him being gay, but he knows it's not something he can fight at this point.

that was pretty interesting and i do understand what you are saying... i don't think it's a true phobia at all, it is almost hatred just masked by the claim that it is a "phobia", and shit we are just raking in the negative thumbs...

dammit you can't be serious. i don't understand anyone's "gay is a choice" argument because gay people end up having to take more torment than anyone. why would they want to put themselves through that?

If I may, allow me to share a few things about what results in a person being homosexual. (Though don't take this word-for-word, I'm sketchy on details)/
When a person, (Let's use a boy in this example), is raised by a male role-model, they adapt and learn the ways of being "Manly", or "Macho". Their Female influence is virtually nothing, even in 'both-parent' households. So the boy grows up a hot-blooded male, Hormones and Curiosity blending to create is attraction to Women. However, boys raised by singles mothers are MUCH more likely to be gay. This is because they grow up learning the feminine arts and lifestyle, and know very little of being a "Man". This eventually turns curiosity into attraction. Hope that helped.

its actually a trait or "genetic malfunction"inherited somewhere down the line,and even though the person knows what they will go through,they cant control their sexuality

Science has proven with almost certainty that a "Gay Gene" does not exist. Though it's possible, I guess. I'm no scientist, so I don't really know. But most studies conclude it's more about environmental upbringing, that genetics. (And who's the asshole thumbing everyone down?)

Well, that's the thing. It's not technically a fear. I mean, someone who dislike Gays probably pairs them with the stereotype of sissy, effeminate men. That being said, what man would find fear in that? It's not a phobia, as much is it is an intolerance for something they don't understand.
