You'll forgive me if I take all the stories of people claiming military service with a pinch of salt, I've come across far too many people claiming to be Army or whatever to appear more informed. Nothing personal you understand.

I was using the 416 as an example, the C7 is heavily based on the AR-15 series and is very similar but is not the same weapon. Same goes for the HP, Saive made several improvements to the safety and designed a few variants as well.

In the event you really are a soldier, how do you find you're M4 reliability wise?

Dieudonné Saive only designed the magazine. J.M. Browning based the design of the HP of his 1911 design while working for FN. That pistol is the only reason FN has a trademark on Browning's name.

The HK416 cam after the C7. C7 is basically A M16A2 develped on the same line, just a different sighing system, basically to Replace the C1A1.

Diemaco produced the C7 under licence from Colt until it was acquired by Colt in 2005.

Actually they use C7s and C8s as primary assault rifles (Canadian), FN Hi-Powers or P226s as side arms (Canadian/Belgian and Belgian), and C14 Timperwolves as marksmen rifles (Canadian).

The only American small arm they use is their heavy machine gun and even that is half Belgian.

Well let the people in HS rush into marriage if they desire, why should you be jealous of them? You're still young, and you've still got plenty of time in your life ahead of you. Even if your military ambition didn't work out so well, you can still say proudly you served your country and still can if needed. You teach people how to serve and protect your country, not just kill.

Let your friends and classmates go on with their lives. They're just starting out quickly, and that's fine. You don't need to rush. Take time to enjoy life, and eventually you'll find a girl you like and get married and have kids and all that stuff. As a lot of my guy friends say, enjoy the single life while you can I guess. =p

And no problem. I said you could vent to me if you needed to.

I've asways been found of the movies Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, and A League of Thier Own. Saving Private Ryan and A League of Their Own are the only movies I've come close to crying while watching. Forrest Gump was good.

TV: Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy. Halious. M*A*S*H was good. House is cool and Band of Brothers was awesome.

I've been a fan of a lot of Jackie Chan's movies. Rush Hour, Drunken Master, etc. And a fan of the old Disney classics like Lion King and Finding Nemo.

As for TV, I have Fringe, Pokemon, Jackie Chan Adventures, 24, and a lot of cartoons.

I want to so her that I care for her and her alone. Something quiet so I can see her. Then we would do something she wants to do, even if it is watching the history channel. Not American Pickers but other shows. Something I know she's happy and happy I'm there to share it.

That could range from catching TV on the couch or eating at Restaurant or just simple cuddling.

Ah... well I really have no interest in the military. The set routine schedules, constant stress, and judging by my horrible driving skills if I tried flying a jet or helicopter it would probably result in disaster.

Air force isn't just flying and yes it can be boring beyond all reason, but you have job security. Plus you meet some interesting people. Air force is really big on computers and telecommunications. The US military gives you extra training and experience in a specific area while bringing up others as well

I'm trained in weapons and ammunition, fighting, killing, cooking, survival, and child care. You can learn most things in the US Military.

I have to look for civilians jobs, really.

I understand that, but I just don't feel like I could adjust into military life. I know it usually comes with a college scholarship after serving for a few years and other job experience, but I really wouldn't be able to adjust.

And do any of the jobs interest you? With your skills, you could do something like police work or security pretty easily.

Well, my name is William along with my father's and grandfather's. History of it and it fights a soldier well even though my father and grandfather never were. I'm also the only one in the family that can carry on the family name. I'm not sure what the future will hold.

Research on different subjects, mostly guns, but also in sciences that involve humans, history, the mind the weather and physics.

Shooting is fun. You get an adrenaline spike from each shot because you realize the power in your hands. Obviously different weapons have different powers and forces at hand. I have a few example if you like.

Obviously with a larger caliber and more powders, but the shape of a bullet changes it considerably.

A large flat, short bullet (like .45-70) will push the flesh open and release all of its energy into a target. While a skinnier, longer bullet (like the .30-06) will penetrate straight through and continue on, but the forces of it spinning will cause cause cavatation (like from a boat propeller) which will cause the flesh to bow out like an explosion.

While the .45-70 might take the head off with brute force of the first target and kill the second, the .30-06 round will explode the head of one target, behind steel plating, explode the ribs of the second target and then inbed it's self in the legs and thighs of the third.
