A lot of places, especially ones that actually serve good pizza, or use fresh and organic ingredients. The reason you only pay $5 for a large at Eureka or Little Caesar's is because they have use cheap crust, low quality sauce, and very little cheese. If you go to a pizza joint where they make the dough and sauce there, hand-toss the crust, use fresh (not pre-cut or frozen) raw-that-morning toppings, and like to pile on the cheese (MY GOD the cheese), you will end up paying that much. But I will tell you son, it's damn worth every penny.

I can go to a place that will make the pizza from scratch right in front of you with all the shit you want on it and they want like $11. The most expensive pizza I can buy around here are $15

Try going to an organic vegan pizza joint. They charge out the ass, but it's damn good.

I love meat as much as any other sane person (had a rare ribeye for dinner and fucking enjoyed every bite of it) but my best friend is allergic to gluten, so we go every once in a while.

That's a bum deal. I had a short term job with General Mills and part of training was trying to live gluten free or with a food allergy so we could know what some of the callers go through daily and would care.....it sucks.

Yeah, I've tried it and it sucked hardcore. A lot of things you would assume are gluten free actually aren't, because they're manufactured in a facility that makes wheat or have traces of wheat-based products. Not even mayo is safe for the extremists.
