 The NRA makes a point to have pro-gun rallies in towns where recent, gun-related tragedies have occurred so if you're disgusted by anyone, it should be them. Also, a school shooting seems like pretty legitimate leverage when you're talking about how dangerous guns are. Statistically, every country has the same number of mentally insane people. But, the US has a much higher rate of gun-related incidents. The difference isn't that other countries have fewer psychos. It's that these other countries don't say things like "guns don't kill people. People kill people. So as long as people are going to kill anyway we might as well make it super easy for them." There's really no possible way to argue that stricter gun laws wouldn't save lives. It's a fact. It happens all over the world. #890 -
