More or less I assume. But we often find humor in another's misfortune as well. We just bring it all the way to people dying, whilst others stop at getting kicked in the nuts.

Wrong. I'd still laugh in front of both my friends and family.

A few posts down the line from here.

"We never learn how to grow up, just how to act in public."
Some people don't really care that someone dies, and some find it funny. Most people however, placed in a group of people, will tend to react how the group reacts, or have little reaction at all.

Most people here are comfortable enough to be able to find this funny. I don't judge you for not finding this enjoyable, but don't criticize our sense in humor.

Fair enough. It just bugs me a little that people are laughing at 4 people dying. Their families were obviously devastated and well... they DIED. If you really think about it, we shouldn't look at this so lightly. Then again, we do live in a privileged society where safety is pretty much guaranteed. I guess thats why we can find it funny.

What I'm seeing. Four guys get electrocuted. Three flat out die. One gets back up, stumbles into it again and dies.

What I consider: Damn, that's funny.

This goes back to one of the oldest ideas of the internet: You'd never think this is funny in front of your family or others in real life. Its only funny because no one can tell you its wrong over the internet.

Its safe to assume that there is absolutely nothing we could do for them. If I saw this in person, Id obviously get help, but at my computer watching people I dont know in a place I dont know at an unknown point in time, there is no point in making a big deal about it. Might as well get entertainment.
