I live across the street from a highschool (a very densely populated one), and there's a bunch of dumbasses who take their "right of way" as some sort of magical fucking shield, and think it's okay to just wander across the street, whenever, without looking, and I can't tell you how much I want to run them down.
User avatar #129 - Leonidus (02/16/2014) [-]
Man, "magical fucking shield" are the right words to describe how people think of it.

I really want those idiots to get hit one day so they learn.
User avatar #124 - saltyfries (02/16/2014) [-]
my first thoughts exactly, I can totally tell that even the PARENT didn't even stop to look both ways, and obviously her kids didn't either, now seeing kids get hurt is wrong but in this case all 3 were idiots for not looking both ways, not saying they deserve it because no one should get hurt, but my god that was stupid to look at. The parent even looks stupid, she just has that look. Then again, how could the motorist even see them coming when they're walking in between parked cars? All the more reason people should stop and look both ways.

Think of it this way, in a couple years time when all the english and history majors are unemployed, you will have a job with excellent pay.

Also OP is retarded if he thinks mathematics isn't used in the real world. ESPECIALLY differential equations. Holy shit balls.

your enemies and teammates depend on your mmr not on your divison or lp if you were diamond and didn't play for months you'd end up in silver and would still play vs diamond players but you wouldn't lose that much for a lose and get about 30 for a win since the system will try to match your mmr and your divison (winning will raise your mmr thought not as fast as lp but still so you might end up playing with even better players ind gold)
User avatar #72 - mennopauze (08/29/2013) [-]
I didnt mean to scare you off. Silver is probably even more toxic, but I'm not 100% sure of that ofcourse since I've never been it. Also the lower division (V-III) seem to be more toxic because they have less to lose. But give it your all man, if you go 9-1 in placement matches you're doing something and eventually you will also get out of the toxic parts
#115 - imgood (08/29/2013) [-]
Sadly people just get more and more toxic and rage you out for even smaller mistakes in higher ELO.

How the fuck are you supposed to punish someone for being a slut? Are you really saying that there needs to be a limit on the amount of sex you can have?

Sex is essentially the basis of all life on this planet. Just because you can't get any doesn't mean the rest of the planet has to suffer.
User avatar #204 - Leonidus (06/29/2013) [-]
random sex is literally the biggest waste of time in my eyes... like you feel good for like 10 mins. or if you want to include the whole like foreplay and all for a few hours, then what? like its really not that amazing. sure it feels amazing at the moment but after that... like it really isnt any overlying satisfaction. good job you slept with a slut. so did 50 other guys. I never felt any amazing feeling when i was messing around with girls, I just thoght this is nice, then what?

eh you'll grow up one day.

Really? I'd recommend trying it out more - there's a lot of good books out there. It's hard to know what might interest you if you don't read regularly, but if you watch a lot of movies or tv shows of a certain genre you might start with similar books (crime, sci-fi, whatever).

I don't intend to be all "omg y u no read", but I'd recommend it just so you don't miss out on something you might really enjoy.
#28 - beardarama (05/19/2013) [-]
and why exactly don't you read? I generally never understood why some people refuse to read, and don't tell me "erhgghh becus it foking boring bro hueahueahueah" because that just makes you sound like a boorish ignoramus
User avatar #57 - Leonidus (05/22/2013) [-]
Honestly, I've rooted it down to I don't have the patience. My mind wanders off as I read, and I will read the words written, but my mind will be thinking about something else, generally related to something I just read.

For example I will read:
John wanted to buy a cat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...and that's how John ended up buying a cat.
in the ~~~~~~~ space I'm just thinking "I want a cat too; I should go to the pound and get one; I wonder if there are cats that stay kitten sized." and then I realize I'm still reading and catch the ending there. Idk always been that way with me when I read.
User avatar #33 - beardarama (05/19/2013) [-]
that's true, and I agree that some people are different and that not everybody can love everything I like.
But books are a completely different thing, they are filled with stories, characters, worlds, ideas, complexities and so many beautiful things which help you almost escape from this world and embrace the mind of the author.
To me that is the beauty of reading books, and I think everyone ought to at least read a few books in their life time
