Groudon's Sp. Atk & Sp. Def is low but his regular Attack & Defense is on par with Kyogre's.
You can't keep comparing that because by that logic, Kyogre's regular Attack & Defense ain't got shit on Groudon's.
And if you keep following that logic; Groudon's Attack is high, so moves like Earthquake & Magnitude most likely would be 1HKO's as well.
And no nigga, Solarbeam is definitely a 1HKO. Same goes for thunderbolt.

Earthquake? Maybe. Magnitude? Gotta get lucky. And I can fairly compare that because you're saying that groudons special attack is enough to 1hko kyogre with a non stab move. It just doesn't work man. The only way that would happen is with a critical hit. But, this is also assuming you move first. Which is possible seeing as they both have the same speed stat. But I can guarantee that no matter how many times you try, without a crit, you can't 1hko with a solarbeam or thunderbolt. I say again. 1 surf. Done. Guaranteed.

So one way to measure the age of the universe is by look at how fast it is expanding. You can measure how fast it is expanding by measuring the redshift (wiki it if you want) of stars around you. Einsteins theory of relativity predicts this expansion. If you believe you have a good measurement of the expansion and how it should behave over time, you might imagine you could then predict how much more it is going to expand over the next few years. You can also then do the reverse and ask, given its current size how long would it take to get here and how small was it say a thousand years ago. At some point as you dial back time the size of your universe reaches a singularity (infinitesimally small i.e. right at the big bang) and bam there you go thats how old we are.

There are a lot of ways, the easiest to understand being the one already explained.
Basically light has a fixed speed, we can only see light that has reached us, so when the furthest thing we can see is 13.7 billion light years away we can figure out that the universe is at least 13.7 billion years old.

Don't quote me on this because it's been a while since I read any of this stuff but I believe it's to do with working out how far away distant objects are, because the further they are away the longer it takes the light to reach us thus we can work out how old they are based on how long it takes for the light to get us (because obviously if we can see the light it must be at least that old)
like i said don't quote me on this

It is almost true but there was a time after the Big Bang where light didn't exist because electrons couldn't bind to protons because the universe was too hot. In this period it is hard to make an image of and know what exactly is going on but that is partially what the scientists at CERN trying to figure out.

One of the first methods to get a handle on the age of the universe is to look at how fast things are receding away from us.
The further away you look, the faster things are moving, and this change happens at a (nearly) constant rate (The Hubble Constant). If you work backwards you can derive how long it would take for all these objects to be at the same location (the big bang). That quantity is the 'Hubble Time'. It ends up being about the age of the universe.
This only holds true if the Hubble constant is constant. New information about extremely distant supernovae indicate that the universal expansion is accelerating due to some sort of energy. We have no idea what it is so we called it 'dark energy'. The expansion of the universe is retarded by the presence of matter that makes it want to contract onto itself as well (gravity).
We happen to be at an inflection point between dark energy dominated expansion and matter dominated contraction, so the hubble time is a good estimate.
