When you breed for shinies using the masuda method you can control their Nature and have some control over their IVs

That Gardevoirs stats aren't that good though, it's SP attack is only 259 at lv. 74, my Gardevoir is level 34 with about 128 SP attk

MFW hatched 5 Charmander eggs and got shiny. also on the same day I hatched shiny Emolga in less than 10 eggs.

I do. I'm hatching Pinsirs atm. I have more than 400 eggs.

Breeding is the easiest way to get shinnies, especially if you want a pokemon with a low encounter rate.

Nice. I've only ever encountered one wild shiny. And it was a zubat.
#23 - slend (11/11/2013) [-]
Thanks, yeah it was my first ever.
Moments like these pay off when after playing pokemon since the 1st gen
all your friends got all these shinies and you end up having nothing save
that one shiny you saw in the battle tower in FR/LG that you couldn't catch.

And then I get a Hydreigon. Good lord, I was so happy.

single, with no children, 18 years or more, and living at parental home $268.20 per fortnight. it goes up to $407.50 per fortnight if I'm living away from my parental home.

#298 - fourtitwo (11/02/2013) [-]
Lol, in Denmark it's 570£ per month. You can't even compete
User avatar #315 - lolme (11/02/2013) [-]
It depends on your financial situation, most people get 200€ per month, but you can get 1000€ month if you don't live at home etc.
#307 - adrianoc (11/02/2013) [-]
What the crapper? We only get 98£ a month, for attending school (I Know I should be happy for it but now I'm jealous)
#310 - fourtitwo (11/02/2013) [-]
TIHI. I don't know where you live, but prices are very high in Denmark :b
Truth be told, we only get that much if we're no longer living with our parents. Even then, if I still lived with them, I'd get 295£ a month. And that's minimum, bitches. You'd get more the lower your family's income is.
#308 - adrianoc (11/02/2013) [-]
I'm from sweden by the way
#311 - fourtitwo (11/02/2013) [-]
What level do you read at? I'm comparing with university standards :b
#313 - adrianoc (11/02/2013) [-]
Ooh I'm still at what we call The Gymnasius (like americas high school), idk exactly what system you have down there in lego land. whatever you read when you're 18 years old! I will be applying for a university this year

It's still a shit ton of money you're recieving though..
#411 - anon (11/02/2013) [-]
i think to americans it would be highschool&college combined.
#314 - fourtitwo (11/02/2013) [-]
We have the same system as you xD
In the gymnasium I got... Let me just think... I think I got around 200£, or around 1.700 dkk. And that is, again, the minimum xD
#416 - anon (11/02/2013) [-]
When I went to gymnasium, I didn't live at home, and my "new" home was more than 50 km from home. Which meant, I got 2400 monthly when under 18, and 3600 when over 18
#401 - anon (11/02/2013) [-]
The minimum is 1.274 DKK I should know, that's what I get

The system is very unfair IMO, the less money your parents make, the more money you get. I would probably be okay with this if I got more money though.
#320 - adrianoc (11/02/2013) [-]
Oh fuck me, why can't I live in Denmark? we get 1050 SEK a month as long as we attend our classes.. But you getting the double? Wow ;__;

Gif not related
User avatar #447 - besle (11/02/2013) [-]
It really depends on the financial situation. My friend got the absolute minimum, of 1200 kr (back then), while i got nearly 2k.

#487 - adrianoc (11/03/2013) [-]
I assume you're from sweden then. Huh I never knew they adapted after what your parents make!
User avatar #488 - besle (11/03/2013) [-]
Nope, Denmark as well.

Although there is a big difference, i guess the core of the financial aspect is the same.

not caterpie/weedle. in fact quite often i would switch out for weako level 2 pokemon upon encountering a kakuna/metapod in the wild with the knowledge that they would only use harden forever.

seriously, go catch one, level it to 7 and let it evolve, watch all the moves disappear.
can't believe how many downvotes i got for providing correct information, goes to show how many people started playing 3rd gen.
