i've been lifting 90 which isn't that heavy anymore. i do 5 sets with 12 reps. i was thinking of adding more, but all i hear is that 8-12 is fine and more doesn't really do anything. i take maybe a minute to two minutes of rest in between sets and drink lots and lots of water, usually 4 16oz bottles of water during workout, but i do drink a lot before and after too. i just started Cardio about 2-3 weeks ago and have noticed a bit of a change in my arms. they look a bit more tone, but I've only been speed walking 20 minutes before workout and 20 minutes after.
I do need to start measuring my calorie intake though cause I've been eating more ever since i started working out, i just feel hungrier.

I take it 90 pounds? Best thing if you just want to burn the calories on the treadmill. Highest incline and a nice constant walking speed. about 10 minutes on 15 incline at 6 speed and i've lost 150 kcal easy. nice and constant and it doesn't start straining till about 30 minutes in. also most people don't do this but, get on a crossfit machine to warm up. it's full body and 3 minutes of that will make the difference between hurting like a bitch the next day all day, and normal muscle pain from if you start pushing yourself.
I'm lucky that I don't put on weight, so I just eat anything and force protein down me.

Just do your workouts regularly and you'll be fine. After a few weeks you'll want to do more too, once you get used to it. Cardio is also something to do, besides just looking pretty. Meditation is by far the best. You don't even have to work out if you do THAT. XD but seriously, check out the book "You Are Here" by Thich Nhat Han or look up "Buddhist Meditation" or "How to Meditate" on Google.
