You're right. I'm am also very good at math. When you do the 9+3, thats solving the parenthesis first, and then its just the same as normal multiplication, so you can just remove them. And then after that you just do it in order. Everyone who thinks its too just saddens me.

Yeah, no. Once whatever is in parenthesis is reduced to a single expression, be it a number or a variable, the parenthesis are dropped.

So, 48/2(12) would become 48/2*12.

Then, since all that's left is multiplication and division, you just go from left to right.

I'll try to explain my reasoning
48/2(9+3) =
48/2(12) = (to multiply 12 in to a fraction you must make it a fraction)
48/2(12/1)= (multiply the tops together and the bottoms)
576/2=
288

What? WHAT? Gosh... Once again... The correct answer is 288. You first do the first operation which is "/" then the "*". That's the order. How did you even get to fractions? Once again.
