What food issue? Bees are more important right now.

<That one. And while it could be fixed with a time consuming, inefficient reallocation of resources, more food available means more of a likelihood that poverty/hunger efforts with have more of an effect.

That's without the debate that the honeybee population is, ultimately, probably going to be fine, especially since it's European Honey Bee that's suffering so widely from colony collapse disorder. There are still three subgenera of honeybee, not including the 7 or so subspecies, none of which are close to extinction. In fact, the European Honey Bee that you're thinking of isn't anywhere close to extinction either.

Correction; cloning insects is done by taking bits of insect nuclei and injecting them into an embryo, whereas mammal cloning has been using adult cells injected into an embryo. Apparently there's a huge success difference in the two.

soooooo...how's that diffrent from any other faction lol. At least teh brotherhood has shown a desire to change. The institute quite literally brainwashed their people and locked them underground. And if you didn't do what you were told, you were basically blacklisted. They tried to kill Virgil for his research. Though if i'm not wrong he did a lot of it to himself to. And the only reason teh Enclave even exists, is because their idea's differ from the brotherhood. I've never found books or anything so i dunno teh actual lore, just going off what i've seen int eh game.

I read the entire thing.

And memorized it.

Yes, it says that, but it is 21 in all States, so that stipulation is moot.

It also states that alcohol is forbidden on bases.

So there is another disqualifier.

Read it again. And next time, read things before you post them.

Your stupid unauthoritive "about" link even states it is 21.

It is only 18, if a soldier is in a nation where 18 is acceptable. Except for Japan, where 18 is allowed, but soldiers can only drink at 20.

The article also state that Ft. Bliss forbids alcohol of any kind for any age.

Which would mean you made that shit up too.

Why do people on FJ post links to shit to support their idiocy and the link actually proves them wrong???

Maybe you were stationed in a min. age 21 state, but for lower age states and overseas its at the commandant's discretion.

The under 21 at the bar thing is a new law.

Not even sure if that is nation-wide.

It's not illegal for someone under 21 to sit at a bar. Especially since the drinking age here is 18.

America has stupid laws.

User avatar
#122 - sherlockbatman (11/26/2015) [-]
yes, that's actually exactly what the law is referring to, as anyone under 21 isn't even allowed inside a real bar as it stands, so this law serves to keep underage folks away from the bar bench at restaurants and stuff

I'm 20, I dated a 40 year old. Twice my age. For 15 months. Although it fucked up and we couldn't bridge the gap in the end, I'm fairly positive about the chances that some couples may make it work. I don't think I'm the type that can right now.

At the end of the day, every relationship that breaks down breaks down because there is some sort of gap. A gap in interests and hobbies that destroys the connection, or an intellectual gap if one is clever and the other not so clever, or a culture gap, or a "cheating fuck" and a "loyal person" gap. Age is just another potential reason a couple might split up, but it doesn't mean they will. So from a "can it work?" perspective, my experience says yes it can if you really want it.

From a creepiness point of view, I'd say if they're pre-18 years old, you've got a two, maybe three, year leeway. At 17, you can maybe get away with being with a 14/15 year old. Once you hit 18, maybe apply the half your age plus 7 if the other one is younger. If both are over 18 and consenting adults, it's bombs away mate, do what you like. At 18, you can bone a 70 year old if that really floats your boat and everyone is properly on board.

So to summarize:

Younger than 18 = +2 years to -2 years (or 3 at a push, but be very wary of the maturity of both parties).

18 or 19 but the other party is not 18 yet = Age / 2 + 7 (so, 16+)

20 or 21 but the other party is not 18 yet = 17+

22+ but the other party is not 18 yet = LEAVE IT MATE. LEAVE IT.

Both 18+ = Life's too short to do maths when you're both consenting adults. Give her the dick.

It's a pretty awkward and debatable topic when it comes to teen years. There's a huge difference between 16 and 19, but not so much for 26 and 29. It's because puberty is skyrocketing during those younger ages. Personally I think it's much safer not to do it.
User avatar
#203232 - Kanoah (11/26/2015) [-]
Which is exactly the point that I was making, especially considering that if someone really wanted to, they could pitch a huge legal fit over it
