Also, to end all life on Earth you would have to kill everything in the ocean. Although I don't know for sure, I doubt even a nuclear winter would kill everything. Plus tardigrades, as previously mentioned, can survive ridiculous amounts of radiation.

26 nukes one is true, we would not die from the actual blast, but the combined radiation of all 26 nukes would poison our food sources.

once again, this is saying that the blast would kill us. The picture is counting 14.9 km^2, which is 5.8 miles^2 which is blast radius.
