Under what conditions does it take 1 minute to stop a moving motor vehicle on a horizontal surface? Also... in #142 - a truck weighing 80 tons? That's heavier than most tanks. The vehicle would collapse under it's own weight. That is massively inaccurate.

Sorry, I had my unit of measurement off, its 40 tons or 80,000 pounds. And I've said it twice already, ICE ON THE ROAD.

It can take more then a minute for 18 wheelers to drop from highway speeds when they are fully loaded, specially going down a hill. And in this case the driver is fighting ice. Its like you dont have a drivers license, or just plain do not know anything about driving with or around big trucks.

Here in Aus the lights come on 1-2 minutes before a train comes. If you cannot stop your vehicle in that time, you really need to stop going around at mach 4, it's dangerous. If the lights don't have a big warning wherever this occurred, my comment is null.

Its not only the distance, its the road conditions. And the ice on the ground tells me this isnt happening in Australia.

the lights have to come up a lot further than that and 100 yards should be enough. if my truck can stop in 100 ft on icy roads that truck should be able to stop in 3 times the distance. besides a lot of commercial vehicles have to stop at train tracks
User avatar #142 - Jewssassin (05/31/2015) [-]
Dude, how much does your truck weight? Im betting his is every bit of 80 tons. with drum brakes all the way around and on icy roads thats not a good combination.

No I'm talking about the pic on the gun itself, not this entire picture. It's an image of some character holding a bat, I know that, but I don't know what THAT is generally used for. I've seen it posted pretty often.

Seinfeld George teaches the Yankees how to play From Seinfeld. Like most memes or Macros, the image was just widely used and became a popular go to image macro.

>>#17, Yup, the line associate with it was "I seriously hope you guys don't do this" or "ISHYGDDT," probably referencing the skeptical, mocking look on Costanza's face. Which makes it even more hilarious, considering he put it on a gun well-known for its stopping power and then actually shot someone with it.
