 It's hard, I may only have a 16 credit hour workload but trust me, I know how it is. If you're not dieting, just exercising, reward yourself afterward with a small but satisfactory serving of a food that releases feel-good endorphines, like chocolate. Then you'll find that you look forward to the exercise and make room for that little chunk of me time. You can also walk to school, plan out a schedule in advance, or find another way of getting your daily exercise in, like I do. I go swimming at least once a week, on a day I know is going to be full of studying- usually sunday. Why swimming? Because I love doing it, and that's the only way I'm gonna put the books down and make an hour or two of me time. | ||

 Me as well. Fortunately, by the time I was in Middle School, I had the internet. I always made sure to doublecheck everything the teachers "taught" me. I've never trusted them fully ever since my English teacher tried to tell me Cocaine is made with cocoa. I tried to tell her she was pronouncing coca wrong, but she was having none of it. | ||

Jenisist (12/31/2014) [-] Depends where in the state you live, but overall its kinda crappy. I'm from the Gulf Coast, which is really the only place worth living in the state imo. The people here aren't like the stereotypical Mississippian you'd might think about. And we have beaches, but not white sand and blue water. The Mississippi sound is pretty dirty. So if you're thinking some tropical getaway well eh thats not it. But if you got a boat or are into fishing and stuff like that, its good for you.
Outside of the Coast the only other places worth living would be in a college town like Oxford or Starkville. And maybe Jackson the capitol would be worth living in, but I've only been through there so I cant tell you how it is round there.
Other than those places the state is just full of cows and country folks. So since there isn't really anything big in the state, it can be boring.

Go a couple hours north from the beaches though and you'll definitely find some.
The Gulf Coast really is different from the rest of the state. If we could we would succeed into the state of South Mississippi.

Which, being stuck in the past, you can imagine racial tensions are high. I've met some truly racist old white men in this state.
Then in the delta you got poverty, crime, and piss poor education. Its a shame, lots of talent has come to this state. But because we just dont have the money/resources, Mississippi lags behind the rest of the union.
The Coast is different though, because we have all sorts of different people down here. And we have income coming in all the time through the gaming business down here, and fishing. Also theres some big companies that have manufactures down here, even NASA is down here.
