I believe in God or a higher being but I follow science. Like evolution.

I believe a higher being set evolution and made it what it is today.
I was raised as a christian and I still consider my self a christian.

i would disagree with the "a lot of other" comment. it just seems that everybody who wants to flaunt their religion is in one way or another imperfect in the head.

I too am christian. i greatly enjoy science shows, and most anything on history or discovery channel(when ever a good cartoon isn't on....).

but one thing that bothers me to no end is the comparison of gps tracking to the mark of the beast. Not a single person, not even my step-father who is a pastor, has been able to convince me of this blasphemous presumption; best of all, even my step-father admits he does not fully agree with the gps tracking being the mark. I piss the people off when i compare the "accepting their rule" to them paying taxes.

And now if someone came along and said "Hi, I'm a Satanist and wish for world peace" They'd be kicked in the balls and shunned by everyone else.
Things work funny these days.

The problem is so many of these people misinterpret scripture and say they know what they're talking about. The Bible is not to be taken 100% literally, so dumb Christians make fools of themselves, but dumb Atheists make fools of themselves by criticizing misinterpretations. If you're going to rant and rave at someone, know what you're talking about first.

Used to think like that. Then went the whole way. Religion to me is now a psychological placebo, a form of culture people participate in because of social ties. I don't need it, but if I'll be respectful of religious customs, even if I think they're flawed.
