Wow, you are dense. He pulled the US out prematurely leading to escalation of the syrian civil war, the rise of ISIS. He almost single-handedly destroyed a democratic government erected by 8 years of warfare and the deaths of thousands of US citizens and soldiers, as well as the injury of tens of thousands more.

We shouldn't have entered in the first place. Leaving early invalidated everything the soldiers fought for over there, and made the entire region even more unstable.

As opposed to bush took out Hussein and just made an entire country up for grabs? That obama's fault, too? What democratically elected government? You're just lying outright now... "We shouldn't have entered in the first place" was all that comment needed to be. What did the soldiers fight for? There was no achievement ever being made towards something that resembles a democracy except wasting billions of US dollars on it. And you're going to claim the war was a stable environment, so when he pulled the us troops out he made it more unstable??

The old "Obama's not shit tier president because bush was worse" argument is really tired out. The fact that he started in a shitty situation isn't an excuse for making it worse.

Yes, it is an excuse when their decisions limit your options so much so that none are good. Especially when people are using your choice against you to argue that you're stupid. If someone took away all the right answers on a multiple choice test, everyone would have to get a 0

Oh yeah, he just "got ur troops out of irack" and saved the universe.

When in reality that is what let it become a worldwide problem. So now it's not just us, but now the world is in an "unending conflict" with the Middle East.

Sure the strategy of approach to the Middle East 10 years ago needed tweaking, but ending our influence there wasn't going to make it just magically grow a peaceful civilization. Welcome to reality, and the Middle East.

The fact that you can blame him shows just how stupid Bush supporters had to be. Like, Bush sent them in and started a conflict in what was now known to be a relatively stable state because people from a different country did 9/11. "It needed tweaking" You mean it was a giant fuck up that only left us in a huge debt and a conflict that apparently the next president could neither continue nor end without fucking up and having it be his fault

No, all he did was let cut and run out of Iraq, while trillions in debt, so that the American taxpayers can eat the debt instead of holding the Iraqi government responsible.

The Iraqi war is one of the biggest US military disaster of this century.

yeah, he just pretended like he ended it, while it in fact got much worse.
#21 - anon (12/11/2015) [-]
No, he just vastly expanded them into new countries and gave away any areas that were stable post-war so he could campaign that he "ended the war in Iraq." Brilliant!
#11 - lean (12/11/2015) [-]
What we've learned is he may not have started the fight, but boy does he suck balls at finishing one.

Well it is true, people don't change, they may say they have but really, they only change a little tiny bit, someone cheats on you, they'll do it again, someone cheats in the past, they'll cheat on you
#219 - anon (12/09/2015) [-]
People change ridiculous amounts, we are the least pre-programmed out of all the animal kingdom. Humans change massive amounts daily. That said, we are terrible at deliberate change, we tend to randomly drift. I mean sure, you can say you will become more outgoing and take steps every day to become that, but it's hard as fuck. Although if you talk to more and more strangers around you cause your bored and become a socialite, it's easy. If someone randomly becomes a cheater, deliberately becoming a not-cheater will be difficult. I mean it can be done, but just like all difficult things I wouldnt trust a sole out there to do it, we are lazy creatures by nature. If you trust someone completely though, and they say theyll do a thing, who are you to say they 'cant' or 'wont'.
#211 - anon (12/09/2015) [-]
People change if they want to. It's pretty difficult to make someone change. They have to internalize the desire. Even then, it can take some time, unless it's one of those rare instances where something so traumatic/shocking/unexpected happens that it creates essentially an overnight change.

Eh I gotta disagree with that statement. Too absolute. I do think people can change, and some people can't. You hear the horror stories all the time of second chances, but we don't hear as many stories of people that worked through drama. I do believe it happens, but it is a case by case basis.
