I dont see why scope should be an issue. In fact, I would propose that it should be easier to be tolerant, as the diversity should be much larger with a larger population.
Sure, you'll also have more idiots, but the percentage of idiots should be roughly the same as that of a smaller population.

That's why larger cities (LA, NY) tend to be more tolerant. But when you have land and population the stupidest ones who don't want to listen can find a new place to live with other people who can agree and reinforce their bigoted beliefs. That (and history) is why thinly spread populations in the midwest and south are notoriously more racist

Excuse me? Are you seriously going to imply that the Danish people's knowledge and opinions aren't taken seriously?
A good deal of the worlds bests physicists have either been Danish or developed their theories in junctution with Danes and in the very same Danish facillities in which students recieve education to this very day.

I think you're being silly, right about now.
User avatar #73 - JHoYouKnow (11/20/2014) [-]
Yeah, that last one was a joke. All I'll say to your being Danish is that it's a lot easier to be tolerant of your fellow countrymen when there' 5.5 million of them. It's harder to keep idiots out when a single city in America can be larger than your entire country

I live in Denmark. Here is neither racism nor homophobia. Writing it out like this, I remember that the land of the free and home of the brave, are still ripe with prejudice and injustice against minorities, but believe it or not, we dont have that here in Denmark.
User avatar #63 - JHoYouKnow (11/20/2014) [-]
Yeah, but now we all know you're from Denmark, so I'm pretty sure even you would agree that your opinion doesn't matter now

Again, that's what Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are relatively known for, and seeing the geography it's fair to say there is going to be a lot more water to take care of.
Hell, the amount of water in Emerald was huge too, you could even go underwater to have an underwater area to take care of.

If we really compared it to previous games, you could say that Pearl/Diamond has too many cities in comparison, Silver/Gold has too many caves, and Sapphire/Ruby has too much water, and Black/White has too many shit pokemon.

Really, if we wanted to compare past games we'd discuss what was added, and subtracted, not the god damn geography of a chain of islands.
#9 - Funnier than the picture. Thanks 11/20/2014 on I doubt it though +7
