Well mainly the Jackson. Where'd you find such a nice coloured RGA? I have the RGA7, metal as fuck, but all black is a bit...meh after a while. XD

Yeah I know what you mean. A mix of colors makes everything just seem so much better, even if it's the exact same guitars. Got it from a small shop near my house called Gand. Not a big selection on typical metal-style guitars but after going to 2 other shops I came back and though their selection of that sort was only 5 guitars big it had the best ones that just struck me, you know? It was between this and a different RGA series with like a cracked ice look which was really cool but this guitar played better for me

Hey, you don't need a ton of guitars if you have some solid ones that let you play all the range of styles, which is why I love this Ibanez so much. You have too many and you start to feel bad you can't play them all and are picking favorites without intending to!

Yeah I know what you mean, but the thing is, I play in at least 5 different tunings just on 6's, as I make a vast range of music, it's a bitch to do, but it's gotta be done XD

Well alternate tunings are fun :P I've actually been forcing myself to try writing more in standard tuning haha. But imagine constantly changing that tuning with a FR bridge. That's why I usually keep mine in one tuning and don't try to fuck with it too much unfortunately

No matter how good the rest of the guitar is, the FR still sucks the life out of the whole damn instrument. Even with my Ibanez Universe, the constant Floyd Rose headaches are making me seriously consider selling it for something less high maintenance.

I've been considering selling my Jackson too because of the FR maintenance even though I freaking love that guitar so so so so so much. I don't know if I have it in my heart to sell though

Well hey, if you really love it, by all means, put the maintenance into keeping it. I just think it would be more difficult to grow to love a guitar that requires that much maintenance in the first place. But if it's already your baby, keep lovin it up.

Maybe the uploader is just having some problems. Try the old uploader or give it an hour?

To get it into a compilation I use a free program called Seashore. I do use a Mac though so I don't know if it would work on PC but you could try. If you do have a PC though I'm sure there are a billion other free editing software things you could download :)

i have a netbook, its this small laptop thats really for internet only, but it has a bit of space for other things. ill try downloading seashore online, thanks. the uploader on this site is always terrible for me, i can't even get a profile pic or even send a message. i hope im not being too annoying and ill try not to ask for any more help (but i probably will)

Yeah the uploader can be a bit of a problem sometimes, but sometimes you just have to wait a long time for stuff to load. It just needs time to do its thing

i think i actually just did it, i downloaded a program very easy to use called photoscape. Thank you new best friend! i'll promise to tell my grandchildren about you. now if you'll excuse me, i have to go tell everyone who contributed that im using their idea, you'll see some ideas from the first two pages (on most liked) of comments from your third comp.

I have a youtube but I don't upload my serious stuff since the recordings are never good since I don't have any actual recording equipment. I just have 2 old acoustic covers of songs and random videos. I've been meaning to put more stuff on there. Just been too busy with college planning to do ANYTHING Dx

I understand THAT. It's hard to find stuff that's not too simple after a while though, so I play it anyway and just have a lot of fun with it :) That's pretty much what the songs I do covers of on my Youtube are like since my microphone doesn't like picking up the heavy distortion for metal. I've been working on a lot of technique and theory lately since I've forgotten the past 3 years of my life, including everything I learned theory wise at that time, because of one medication I was on. Trying to make up the lost time

I have 5 guitars, 3 of which actually work: My Jackson, my mom's old acoustic that she never used, an epiphone SG with a lot of problems, a child-sized strat of some weird brand (my first one) but the input is broken, and a really shitty Squire strat that I never use anyway cuz it's autographed by Billie Joe from Green Day so it's just foe me to admire :)
I'm going to college next year and I plan on going pre-med (If I'm lucky I can get into a 6 year program and save 2 years of my life) so I can be a pediatric surgeon or maybe gynecologist if surgeon doesn't work out.
I'm hoping to find some good musicians who don't think they're God's gift to mankind in college too and form a band. My issue now is where I'm from everyone who plays an instrument is either terrible but nice OR is good but is a total asshole about it. Not the kind of people I want to play seriously with (I basically just jam around with my guitar teacher after lessons cuz that's all I have. sad.)

It's even harder finding stuff that's not too simple for bass guitar <_< lol you end up just learning the basic chord progressions for every song in your iTunes and improvising and adding bass solos everywhere...

Oh nice- I've also got 5 guitars but only 3 are mine: a Venson bass which was my first bass, has skulls all over it and stuff; an Ibanez SRX300 which I got for my 16th last year and a white Tanglewood acoustic... The 2 that I stole from my sister are a Starfire classical which REALLY needs new strings and a navy blue Squier Bullet-Strat... And I forgot to say OMG YOU GOT BILLY JOE'S AUTOUGRAPH?!?=O Grrr...
Lol anyway down here almost everyone sucks as well... But there are about 10 people in my school who are some of the most amazing musicians I have ever seen...

I can see that problem occurring with bass. I've tried to play my sister's bass and I learned a fair amount but I have a tiny hand problem. My hands are so unbelievably small! Like it's kind of scary, I wish I could show you how tiny. Basically, they're perfect for fitting inside a body cavity but not for playing bass. With guitar I can at least compensate by making finger stretches that nobody else would want to ever do :P What I do now to keep challenging myself is exploring and playing different genres of music and applying some theory to the music I already know. You'd be surprised what kind of music you can get into once you start looking for it.

I tried to watch your Californication video but it's blocked because of copyright issues, which I find slightly amusing but strange. Maybe even a little desperate on their part? You're really good, though! Especially for 2 years of playing! I'm super impressed

I've been on a shitload of meds for depression and my anxiety disorder and a few for ADD, but those cause even more panic attacks so I kind of just have to deal with my ADD (it's a miracle I actually get anything done!) The one that literally wiped out 3 years of my life was called Remaron. It's an anti-psychotic that I took for my depression and anxiety. By wiped out my memory I mean I literally remember nothing from the times I was on it. I remember things from before it, but 8th grade through sophomore year are gone. Like people tell me stuff from then and I think they are completely making it up and I get flipped out. Sometimes I get a blur of something but it doesn't last. That's life, though. Some stuff ya just have to deal with, ya know?
I mean, if you want to go into engineering you obviously are smart. I just have a knack for medicine since it's always interested me.

As far as personality/labels I don't really have one. I'm just kind of there doing my crazy people thing. I guess you could call me a music loving premed obsessed kid with geeky interests. Labels are often too superficial to describe the complexity that is a human being (usually... lol)
Music wise I like literally everything. Primarily known for my love of punk, hard rock, techno/electronica, and metal, I also like rap, hip-hop, Green Day(whatever you would categorize them as) catchy pop (I don't necessarily want to like it but I can't help myself :P ) and even one or 2 country artists. Basically anything my ears enjoy.
I play a lot of rock but I've been playing a long time so I've been looking for something more to broaden my guitar-playing experience so I've been working on a little jazz, a tad of folk, but a lot of acoustic and fingerpicking techniques.

Yup that pretty much sums it up :P

I know how you feel on genres I mean technigquly I'm a blues guitarist but i span out to punk, rock, alt., ect. so I know what you mean there as far as ur musical interest goes bravo girl a chick with good taste thats AMAZING lol.
