| Well then the opposite would be true wouldn't it? I ask because for some there is the myth that Judas spawned or became the first vampire and thus his weakness to the concept of Christ and silver being a "holy" metal. Fright Night (remake) recently made note of that point as well. The protagonist waved a cross and the vampire said he lacked the faith to back the item. The notion of a "common myth" would mean what? The one you hear most often? the ones most closely related to the idea of Dracula? The myths have been so thrown around and passed down by generations through tongue that things are added and manipulated at a rapid rate. I find it hard to accept most details as being more acceptable than others. I can concede on major points maybe (such as sunlight, stakes etc) since they are pretty stable myths over many decades of myth but other things are too minor and vary too greatly. As far as the faith issue goes it would make more sense for self faith because a vampire itself would be an unholy "abomination". Faith negatively affecting them doesn't make sense. Whereas self faith would be the idea that faith in a God that offers protection from all evils would actually be a ward of some kind. Like an exorcism, you don't invoke faith in the victim, you use your own faith as a weapon. That is all speculation though. By common I am talking worldwide. Not just Caucasian dominated, Dracula-esque vampires. There are many variations on the creature itself, but only those originating from Christ ruled countries deal heavily with the cross. As that stands, the vampires who come from those lands had experience with the religion, and therefore are affected strongly by it. It's less a true weakness of holiness than a weakness of the subconscious mind. Whereas those coming from countries that don't deal heavily with Christ's religions tend to be ignorant of the cross, and therefore unaffected by it. | ||

| The guy in the picture did the chalk work, the outside stuff is someone else work. Here's the guys site: survivingtheworld.net/ So he is restating the internet idea? I know who the guy is, people post him a lot on here. Generally he has semi-thought provoking things but he is super anti-religion so whenever he talks about religion it is almost like he stops trying to be smart and instead gets opinionated. No one is perfect though. I completely misunderstood you. I believe that he is restating the idea. I apologize for my mix up. | ||

Do you still collect items? ;3
If not, if you kinda like, don't mind sparing some, I'd be glad to take them off your hands.
Rude, I know. But hey, might as well try

Saw your post about being glad so many people of funny junk aren't informed and you're glad they can't vote. Have to say I completely agree. So many people follow the hive mind of whats generally liked on the internet (Obama) just to be liked in return.
Anyway, thumbed up the comments I could. Cheers.

Heya, I was hoping I could send you a trade for your items if you no longer need them

Your original argument was that someone who games is a gamer and mine was to be a gamer you had to have a love and experience for video games not card games. So I said you game at those other things but you are not a gamer and then you said you meant video games to which mean we are arguing the same point,

You are absolutely right about the whole gamer thing. It sucks that an idiot like that could turn so many people against you. "Don't argue with an idiot he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience." I never thought I'd see these words be so true.
