If you watch Fox you'd be able to see right through them, and it would also help to have watched the last couple Presidential elections. They know that he might get the nomination after all this time sitting at #1 or #2 in the polls, and since Fox is the top Republican news source, they know they'll have to prop him up while they fire all cannons at the Democrat.

No, I watch Fox all the time, and I know their history, and the history of Roger Ailes and the liberals he fired literally because they're liberal and the conservatives they hired and centrists they hired on purpose.

Trust me, I keep an eye on their going-ons.

Fox is aligned more closely with the establishment parts of the Republican Party. After all, this is where the money and power is.

Fox had been shilling pretty heavily for establishment candidates and even Fiorina as a "trump stumper" after the second debate. It's clear they'd prefer other candidates that are for sure going to toe the line.

They will end up backing Trump if he wins the primary, of course. But they are certainly not trying to push him to victory, especially not over other GOP candidates.

They're mixing their coverage. The indications that they don't like him are softballs compared to what they're capable of, yet they've been trying to keep a decent framing of him after things he's been saying recently, and putting on pieces trying to say (paraphrasing here) he could win and that'd be interesting. And that's all that I was talking about, because that's how they keep themselves a mattress to fall back on in case he wins.

You know that if they truly didn't like him, they're capable of nailing him, but they won't take that chance.

As a Trump victory becomes more plausible, the bias has dialed down a bit, for this same reason. It has nothing to do with Trump.

Fox's slant against Trump was made most evident during the first debate. The first several questions were not about important policy matters. They were cheap character hits I would have expected from the mainstream media. They proceeded to give some candidates preferential treatment be it through easier questions or more speaking time.

It's fairly obvious which candidates the channel prefers.

The left leaning media is a lot more abundant than right, though, and there's a lot of inside/outside DC (who obviously love Clinton, yeah) things going on, like ThinkProgress and RawStory usually side with Sanders and they tend to get more left leaning YouTube coverage. I hate trying to look at the left though, with all this damn Yahoo!, Salon, Alter Net, Atlantic, Mediaite, AddictingInfo, Huff Post, Wash Post, NY Times, for fuck's sake honestly.

Now, I'm fairly certain we're what, 75% on the same track though, about the way Fox is currently behaving in a way apparent to their audience, and, probably just as importantly, not behaving. They've clearly made some course correction since the first debate, too. Does those assumptions sound accurate?
